Trust in state government is weakest closest to Capitol

When it comes to trusting California state government, it seems like distance may make the heart grow fonder, according to a new survey. Los Angeles-area residents have the most faith in their state government, with 65% saying they trust the governor, lawmakers and other officials to make the right decisions. However, just 42% of Sacramento-area residents have similar faith.
